The Research Coordinator: Indigenous Health and Wellness will act as the primary lead ensuring the coordination and data management for the Cameco Chair in Indigenous Health activity.
This position provides support to the building of research capacity and collaborative partnerships with communities and research organizations. Maintains and strengthens interdepartmental support and information sharing across the organization as well as with health system partners. Offers technical and functional support to grant funded research projects. Ensures close communication and project coordination for research project teams.
The Project Evaluator/Coordinator will work with the Principal Investigator and project team to plan, design, implement and communicate the evaluation of the Unlocking the Gates (UTG) Peer Health Mentoring program at the Collaborating Centre for Prison Health and Education (CCPHE). The position will also include the coordination of the men’s Peer Health Mentoring program. The incumbent will make professional decisions and recommendations on all aspects of project work and is responsible for the quality of project activities.
