The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the commitment to advance cultural humility and cultural safety within Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). The role will involve the ongoing development and implementation of the organization’s Indigenous Cultural Safety Framework and training programs in a way that is relevant to the values and strategic directions of the organization and with the goal of enhancing the organization’s capacity to deliver health services in a culturally safe manner.
The Research Coordinator: Indigenous Health and Wellness will act as the primary lead ensuring the coordination and data management for the Cameco Chair in Indigenous Health activity.
This position provides support to the building of research capacity and collaborative partnerships with communities and research organizations. Maintains and strengthens interdepartmental support and information sharing across the organization as well as with health system partners. Offers technical and functional support to grant funded research projects. Ensures close communication and project coordination for research project teams.

As a Senior Coordinator, Data Collection & Analysis you will be responsible for a variety of data-related tasks including the collection and analysis of survey data, coordinating meetings and materials for data management and governance committees within the organization, supporting and participating in data working groups, and partaking in knowledge exchange activities and production of knowledge exchange products.
